The best thing is the price. I was having a panic attack in Sãeste Paulo and I just wanted to be alone somewhere. So I booked the closest and cheapest hotel I could find.
People are warm and helpful although most of them don't speak english, they still tried their best to help us with directions. Waking tour is wonderful. We had a great time. Food is amazing. Plenty of good restaurants and bars around.
The location is spectacular. Many hotels on Jaú or that area are steep towards Paulista, but Haddock Lobo is a gentler slope, so it's a trivial walk up.

Very clean; they make your bed everyday Leandro Martins de Almeida and clean the rooms and bathrooms at least once a day. Great kitchen, you can find anything here. The best breakfast I had in a Brazilian hostel. Conterraneo juices, hotdogs, cake and scrambled eggs. Also the hostel looks new and fancy.

I like the location and go back to the Hotel Calstar every year I am in Sao Paulo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and privacy respected.
Located in Sãeste Paulo’s city center, this art deco style hotel offers modern rooms with air conditioning, mini-bar and cable TV. Hotel Excelsior is only a few blocks from the República Square. I was lucky that they had rooms available so I could check in early. Staff was very nice.

We love this hotel! We stay here every year we travel to Sao Paulo. This is our 5th year staying here! Great location , staff is amazing. Parking is convenient and secure. Rooms are spacious and super clean!
